2018 Oil Festival Schedule and Wine Walk

ow Wine Walk Works

Guests purchase tickets for $25 from the Chamber, either in person, by phone
or online. They can choose to pick up their tickets in advance or from a
"will call" window the night of the event.

Once  guests have a ticket, they get in line for registration under a tent
outside the Chamber.

Guests will:
1) be ID'd.
2) have their hands stamped
3) get a lanyard with a Wine Check number
4) get their program with map of locations
5) get their souvenir tasting glass
6) have the option to buy a 4-bottle wine carrier box

From there guests are allowed to visit winery locations in any order they
choose.

The Food Stop and Snack Stop will open at 5:45 p.m. to avoid a bottleneck of
guests coming through as soon as they complete registration.

Guests go from location to location, getting in line to sample wine. They
may choose to purchase wine from any location. They can either carry their
purchased bottles or have bottles checked. No open alcohol is permitted in
the city. Open alcohol can be confiscated.

Each winery will have paper wine bags with sticker labels. Each purchased
bottle of wine to be checked will have the corresponding number from the
buyer's lanyard written on the sticker label.

Checked wines are picked up by Chamber volunteers and brought back to the
Wine Check at Henderson Electric (two doors down from the Chamber). When a
guest is ready to claim checked wine, he or she will present the numbered
lanyard. All wine in the Wine Check with that number will be given to that
guest.

Wine will not be handed out without the numbered lanyard. Names or Wine Walk
ticket numbers cannot be used to pick up wine. No record will be kept of
which lanyard number goes with which Wine Walk guests.

Additional four-wine bottle carriers can be purchased at the Wine Check.

Guests may retrieve checked wine at any time during the evening, but there
may be a short wait while purchased wine is in transit.

Wine Check will close at 9:30 p.m.

Guests are responsible for keeping track of their own lanyard number,
souvenir glass, and any unchecked wine or other purchases.

Wineries and winery locations and the Food Stop and Snack Stop reserve the
right to remove or refuse to serve any guests who behave inappropriately or
violate the city's open container law.

Not all winery locations are accessible to people with disabilities.

The annual Wine Walk is a fundraiser for the Titusville Area Chamber of
Commerce. Funds are raised through ticket sales and sponsorships, but not
based on wine sales.
